We attended the annual Farm Bureau Young Farmer's Summer Expo the first weekend in August. Farmer Steve participated in the TRACTOR SAFETY COMPETITION and received 3rd place! Way to go Farmer Steve :)

Our youngest son was chosen as a winner in the Veggie Kids Contest, featured in
American Vegetable Growers Magazine:

 We were honored as the 2009 Virginia Farm Bureau Young Farmer's Achievement Award winners and competed in Seattle on the national level in January! We did not advance any further in the competition but we had a wonderful time on the West coast!!!!
