April 13th-25th: The strawberries are growing and ripening! We have picked the first red ones of our 2019 season and have started making ice cream, too! 

March 28th:


March 28th - We had to frost protect again last night. The science behind it is pretty cool! The freezing and thawing of the water onto the plants actually produces enough heat to protect the delicate berry blooms from the cold temperatures!

March 25th:


Berry blooms are popping up in the field! It takes 30 days for the bloom to develop into a red, ripe strawberry!
